Kailash-Mansarovar Pilgrimage
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter is a spiritual tour package which fulfills your thirst of visiting Mt. Kailash and holy lake Mansarovar. This is an easier and faster way to complete the tour. It is preferable for elders as well as people who are physically weak to move on difficult terrain of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The helicopter journey covers distance till Nepalgunj on land then to Hilsa by Helicopter and then by a drive to Manasarovar.
Mount Kailash isn’t only a mountain, it is a symbol of believing & faith among four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Bon. The mountain lies near lake Manasarovar and lake Rakshas tal. It is the source of four major holy rivers in Asia: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra and Karnali are them. People whoever can't able to perform a holy bath at Lake Manasarovar goes into above rivers with the same believe and faith.
Mansarovar is another holy place which lies north of Mt. Kailash. It has also it’s own religious value among some religions. They have their own beliefs and faith about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra as per their devotional texts.

We operate regular trips from Nepalgunj to Simikot by small aircraft and regular helicopter services between Simikot and Hilsa. These flights are very unpredictable due to weather conditions. Uncertain weather conditions and safety reasons lead to frequent rescheduling of flights causing additional expenses on accommodation during the trip. The additional expenses have to be paid by the passengers directly at each destination in addition to the package cost. The unforeseen circumstances can be due to weather, political reasons such as strikes or riots, or technical failures of flight services.
Nepalgunj – Nepalgunj is a small town in the India-Nepal border around 200km from Lucknow. The accessibility to this town is by car or bus from Lucknow. Nepalgunj has a number of hotels and an Airport. Nepalgunj is connected to Simikot by Small aircraft flights operated by local airlines. Flights get canceled or delayed even in minor climatic disturbances for safety reasons and these flight delays are at the discretion of local authorities and flight operators. We do not bear any liability for such delays or cancellations. Delay causes additional expense on accommodation over and above package cost.
Simikot – Simikot is a small village in Nepal situated at the Northwestern border. It has an airstrip that connects it to Nepalgunj and a helicopter service connecting Hilsa. The flight and helicopter services to Nepalgunj and Hilsa are dependent upon weather conditions which is beyond our control. During any flight cancellations, our team will assist the group in accommodation and food. Simikot is far better than Hilsa with regard to accommodation and other facilities. Expenses incurred due to delay have to be borne by the individual directly to the hotel.
Hilsa – Hilsa is a very small town bordering Nepal and Tibet. Pilgrims visiting Kailash Mansarovar enter Tibet from Hilsa. In the event of adverse weather conditions accommodation, food, and medical help is very limited. If the flight delays gets longer than expected, managing with the best available resources is the only option. The accommodation and food available is very basic. The delay can happen while going or returning from Kailash. The only option is to patiently wait for our turn to arrive at our destination safely.

We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred due to weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances. We provide a list of inclusions mentioned in our tour package, accommodation, the assistance of our team for evacuation, food, and guidance. All additional expenses on accommodation and food due to weather delays and flight changes have to be paid directly by the traveler at each destination.

Welcome to Nepal, OUR representative will be there at the Tribhuvan International airport to meet & greet you and transfer you to the hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast 09:00 AM - you will do a half day of sightseeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath temple, Guweshwari Devi ( Shaktipeeth ), BoudhaNath & Jal Narayan
Back to the hotel, take a lunch & rest day.

Day 03 : Visit Bhaktapur
After breakfast 09:00 AM - Visit Bhaktapur durbar square and Dholeshwor Mahadev.

Day 04: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast 09:00 AM - Visit Swayambhu stupa & Kathmandu durbar square.

Day 05: Fly to Nepalgunj
This day after Lunch, at 3:00PM drive to the airport and fly to Nepalgunj.

Day 06 : Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot (2910 m)
Early morning after tea, you will drive to Nepalgunj airport to catch the flight to Simikot. Simikot (2910m) is the district Headquarter of Humla, a mountain district of Nepal. It is also a gateway to the Kailash tour by Helicopter. You will spend the rest of the day there to acclimatize; and if you will have a little more time, you will do a short trek around Simikot. Overnight stay in Guest House.

Day 07 : Simikot - Hilsa - Taklakot
After breakfast, we will walk to Simikot airport and take a helicopter to Hilsa. It takes 20 minutes to reach Hilsa. You will see the scenic view of green hills and snow capped mountains along with the deep river gorge of River Karnali from the helicopter. After a 30 minute walk from Hilsa, we will reach the immigration office and we will get the pass to enter into Tibet. Our vehicle will be waiting us in the Tibet side. Nearly after 45 minutes drive, we will arrive at Taklakot/Purang (4025 m). Overnight stay at Hotel in Taklakot.

Day 09 : Drive from Taklakot to Lake Mansarovar (Altitude : 4590 m)
After breakfast, we drive to the holy and beautiful lake MANSAROVAR (4550m). It is 88 KM far from Taklakot to Mansarovar which will take 1.5 hours. RAKCHHAS TAL is another lake on the way to Mansarovar; we stop there for a few minutes to catch an amazing beauty of the lake. Then we continued to drive to Mansarovar. On this day we will do all puja at Mansarovar lake. After lunch at the guest house; we will be ready for Mansarovar kora with a vehicle. It is the most auspicious day for us as we will see the first glimpse of holy Kailash and sacred Lake Mansarovar. We will take a holy bath on the bank of Mansarovar. Overnight stay at Guest house in Mansarovar.

Day 10: Drive to Yama Dwara & Trek to Deruphuk (4909 m) - 12 Km
Trek After breakfast drive towards Yama Dwate via Darchen. Yamadwar (Tarboche) is the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarboche is also well known as an outer “Asthapath”. It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky which makes you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. We see Ganesh Parwat on its' side. Time to time the north face of Kailash Parbat will keep on appearing. Overnight at Guest house. (If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will be waiting at Darchen - Mud Guest House multiple sharing (if using hotel Himalaya /any Chinese Hotel with attached bathrooms then Cost Difference USD50 per person for 2 nights to be paid directly by guest) till Group return from Parikrma; we will arrange accommodation & Meals.)

Day 11: Charan Sparsh ( Trek 4 Km one Way)
This day you can have a good view of burning Kailash and go for charanspars One way 4 Km ( If the Chinese government allow. Since august 2024 they have closed charanspars ) Night Stay at Diraphuk.

Day 12: Trek to Zutulphuk (4820 m) 4760 m) (22 km )
Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and proceed to Zuthulphuk (22 km trek for 8-9 hours trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to 5700 ft. From descend to Gaurikund and further trek along the river to Zuthulu-puk.

After early breakfast, we will walk 3 hours to catch our vehicle to the Nepal border. Our staff will prepare lunch in Darchen (on the way to Hilsa). After lunch we will continue to drive to the Nepal border. We will make immigration procedures to exit Tibet and do a short walk to Hilsa on the Nepal side. We will Try to Reach Simikot by Helicopter if weather & Time Permit. Hilsa is a Small Town There are Basic Accommodation. Dinner & Overnight at a guest house in Simikot

If you stayed in Hilsa then Early in the morning, fly by Heli to Simikot. We will catch another flight to Nepalgunj. Drive to the hotel at Nepalgunj, have lunch and take a rest for a while, in the evening 4:PM drive to the airport, fly to Kathmandu. Dinner & overnight at Kathmandu.

Final Departure Nearly 2 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport.
